- 1 lb. powdered sugar, sifted
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 3 Tbsp. boiling water
- 16 drops oil of peppermint (real mint, not extract)
- food coloring (to acquire color desired)
Directions

1Mix with your hands.

2Form into small balls and press with a fork to flatten.

3Lay each ball on waxed paper and flatten each one as you make the balls so they do not set up too fast. Chill and store, but be sure to put waxed paper between the layers of mints.
