Butter Pecan Candy

  • 2 c. chopped pecans
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 box confectioners sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Combine pecans and margarine and toast in 350° oven for 10 minutes.

    Drain on paper towel and cool.

    Melt cream cheese over low heat.

    Remove from heat and add powdered sugar gradually.

    Add the 1 teaspoon vanilla and cooled pecans.

    Pour into a buttered dish and chill before cutting into squares.
