- 1 lb. extra-lean ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1/3 c. dried bread crumbs or cracker crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 Tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. prepared mustard
Directions

1About 25 minutes before serving:

2Preheat broiler per manufacturer's directions.

3In medium bowl, mix all ingredients except mustard and fillings.

4On waxed paper, pat 1/4 of meat mixture into a 6-inch circle; spread 1/2 teaspoon of mustard on half of the circle.

5Spread 1/2 tablespoon of desired filling over mustard.

6Fold plain meat side over filling, crimping edge with a fork.

7Repeat with remaining meat and filling.

8Place turnovers on rack in broiling pan; broil 8 minutes or until browned, turning once.
