  • 1 box butter pecan cake mix
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c. soft butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. cold water

Directions

    Combine all ingredients and mix until well blended.

    Drop by teaspoonfuls on lightly greased baking sheet.

    Bake in moderate oven at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes, or until lightly brown.

    Let stand a few minutes (1 or 2) before removing from baking sheet to cooling rack.

    Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
