- biscuit dough
- 1/2 lb. soft butter plus 8 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. sugar plus 1/2 c.
- vanilla flavoring
- 4 c. milk
Directions

1Make biscuit dough with 2 cups flour.

2Roll out to 1/4-inch or 1/8-inch thickness on floured board.

3Cover with 1 cup softened butter; spread out.

4Sprinkle with 1 cup sugar.

5Sprinkle liberally with vanilla flavoring all over top.

6Roll lengthwise into roll (as for cinnamon rolls).

7Cut about 1/2-inch thick. Place coiled side up (makes a broiler pan full).

8Pour milk over top.

9Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over top.

10Dot with 8 slices butter. Sprinkle with vanilla flavoring again.

11Cook on top of stove until begins to bubble.

12Put in oven at 350° for 30 minutes. Watch closely or will boil over. Brown under broiler.
