Ingredients
- 1 lb. butter
- 2 c. white sugar
- 7 Tbsp. water
- 2 (8 oz.) Hershey bars
- 2 c. ground or chopped nuts
Directions

1Melt butter, add sugar and water; cook, stirring constantly, until candy thermometer reaches 340°.

2I use a large heavy aluminum pan and stir with a long handled rubber spatula.

3Pour into a 13 x 9-inch pan or better yet a heavy aluminum pancake griddle.

4Let cool a few minutes and then break the Hershey bars over top.

5Let it melt a minute and spread over top.

6Sprinkle with 2 cups ground or chopped nuts.

7(I usually use pecans, however, cashews or whatever are delicious too.)

8Press nuts down into chocolate a bit.

9Let cool and cut by breaking pieces off.
