Buttered Spinach With Bacon Recipe

- 1 x bun spinach (fresh)
- 50 gm butter
- 1/2 c. bacon, diced
- 1 pch salt, pepper
- 1 pch nutmeg
Directions

1Remove stems from spinach, wash 3 times in cool water to remove any traces of dirt.

2Drain well and spread onto a teatowel to dry.

3Heat butter in a pan, when it begins to sizzle, add in the bacon and saute/fry 1-2 min till bacon starts to take on some colour.

4Add in spinach and seasonings, quickly toss till just wilted.

5Remove spinach and bacon to a colander to drain any excess liquid away.

6Arrange on plate and serve immediately.

7Cook the spinach just before serving.

8Goes well with just about any meat or possibly seafood dish.
