- 3/4 c. buttermilk, warmed
- 2 1/2 tsp. plain flour
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 c. Mazola or Wesson oil
- 1 1/2 pkg. yeast
- 2 Tbsp. warm water
Directions

1Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water.

2Mix all other ingredients.

3Mix the flour one cup at a time.

4Let stand 10 minutes after mixing.

5Knead 5 minutes.

6Let rise 30 minutes.

7Make or cut into biscuits.

8Melt margarine and rub on top of biscuits before baking.

9Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes or until done.
