- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Heat oven to 450° to 475°.

2Mix together flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Cut in shortening until mixture looks like coarse meal. Stir in buttermilk with a fork until soft dough forms.

3Knead until workable and roll to desired thickness.

4Bake approximately 10 to 12 minutes.
