- 6 chicken breasts, halved and skinned
- 1 qt. buttermilk
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. margarine
- 1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- use Tony's garlic powder, too, to taste
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425°.

2Soak chicken in buttermilk, then roll chicken in mixture of flour and seasonings.

3Melt margarine in a 9 x 13-inch dish.

4Place chicken in dish, breast side down and bake for 30 minutes, uncovered.

5Turn chicken again and pour mixture of buttermilk and mushroom soup over it.

6Bake 15 minutes more.

7Serve over rice.
