- 3 lb. fryer chicken
- 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
Directions

1Dip chicken into 1/4 cup buttermilk, then roll in seasoned flour (salt and pepper).

2Melt butter in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Put chicken in pan, skin side down.

4Bake, uncovered, in a 375° oven for 30 minutes.

5Turn chicken and bake for 15 minutes.

6Blend 1 cup buttermilk and soup; pour around chicken.

7Bake 15 minutes more, or until done.

8Serves 6.
