  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

Directions

    Pour 1/2 cup buttermilk in bowl.

    Tip chicken in milk and roll in flour with salt and pepper.

    Melt butter in casserole dish. Put breast side down.

    Bake 30 minutes.

    Uncover.

    Turn over and bake 15 minutes.

    Turn chicken back to breast side down and mix 1 cup buttermilk and mushroom soup and pour over chicken.

    Bake 15 minutes, uncovered.
