Buttermilk Dinner Rolls

  • 3 c. warm water
  • 3 heaping Tbsp. yeast
  • 1 heaping tsp. salt
  • 4 heaping Tbsp. sugar
  • 3/4 c. canola oil
  • 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 7 c. flour (more or less)

Directions

    Mix all well except flour. Add flour one cup at a time until you have a very stiff dough. Place into a large bowl and let rise until doubled. Punch down and let rise the second time. After second rise, make into rolls; place into a well oiled baking pan. Let rise until almost doubled. Bake in a preheated oven at 350° until golden brown.
