  • 1 1/3 c. sugar
  • 3 heaping spoons flour
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cap almond or vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs (add one at a time)
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • walnuts and a little coconut, toasted

Directions

    Combine the first 4 ingredients.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating until smooth.

    Add buttermilk; stir.

    Pour into deep dish pie crust.

    Now, cover top with walnuts and a little coconut. Bake 50 minutes at 325°.
