Buttermilk Pie

  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 2 c. white sugar (or a little less)
  • 4 Tbsp. flour, mixed with sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring

Directions

    Beat together margarine, sugar, flour and milk.

    Lastly add beaten eggs.

    Mix only until well blended.

    Pour into pie crust. Bake at 425° for 10 minutes.

    Reduce temperature to 350° and bake just until set in middle, maybe 30 minutes.
