- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 6 eggs
- 2 tsp. lemon extract

1Cream Crisco and sugar.

2Add egg yolks. Add soda in first cup of flour.

3Add buttermilk, then rest of flour.

4Add extract. Last, add stiffly beaten egg whites.

5Bake in greased and floured Bundt pan.

6Put in cold oven.

7Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes at 325°.
