- 1 c. Crisco
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. lemon extract
- 1 Tbsp. frozen orange juice
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 3 c. plain flour
Directions

1Cream Crisco and sugar.

2Add eggs, one at a time.

3Beat after each addition.

4Sift all dry ingredients together and add alternately with buttermilk.

5Add extract and juice; beat until satin texture.

6Grease and flour tube pan.

7Bake for 1 1/4 hours at 325°.
