- 3 butternut squash
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 6 Tbsp. honey or maple syrup
Directions

1Wash squash and cut in half, lengthwise.

2Remove seeds and string fiber.

3Sprinkle with salt.

4Dot with butter.

5Add one tablespoon of honey or syrup to each half squash.

6Place in a baking pan in oven at 375°.

7Bake until tender about 45 minutes. Baste occasionally with the butter-honey mixture.

8After squash has browned, which will take 30 minutes, add a little water to the pan. Cover for remainder of baking period.
