- 1/3 c. margarine, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 c. sifted self-rising flour
- 1 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. margarine, softened
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1Cream 1/3 cup margarine and sugar in mixer bowl until light and fluffy.

2Add egg; mix well.

3Add flour alternately with milk, mixing well after each addition.

4Beat for 2 minutes.

5Spoon into greased 9-inch baking pan.

6Combine remaining 2 tablespoons margarine, 2 tablespoons flour, brown sugar and walnuts in small bowl; mix well.

7Sprinkle over batter.

8Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.
