- 1/2 c. oleo
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. nuts
- 1 c. coconut
Directions

1Cook oleo and sugar over low heat until bubbly.

2Remove from heat and cool.

3Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.

4Add vanilla, then the sifted dry ingredients, coconut and nuts; mix thoroughly.

5Spread on greased 9 x 13-inch baking sheet; bake in moderate oven for about 25 minutes.

6While warm, cut into squares.

7Do not overbake.
