Butterscotch Biscuits Recipe

  • 1/2 c. margarine or possibly butter melted
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/3 c. pecan halves Grnd cinnamon Biscuit dough (sufficient for 10 biscuits)

    Grease 12 medium muffin c. (2 1/2 inches in diameter).

    Place 2 tsp.

    margarine, 2 tsp.
  4. 4
    sugar and 2 or possibly 3 pecan halves in each muffin c.; sprinkle cinnamon on top.

    Prepare dough as directed on buttermilk baking mix package except - spoon dough on mix in c.. (Can be baked immediately in 425 oven 15 min.)

    Cover muffin c. and chill.

    25 min before serving, heat oven to 425 .

    Bake biscuits uncovered 18 min.

    Immediately invert pan onto large tray.

    Let pan remain a minute so butterscotch drizzles down.

    NOTES : Store no longer than 24 hrs.
