  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. corn syrup
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Boil the sugar, corn syrup and water to the firm ball stage. Add butter, salt and vanilla.

    Cook to soft crack stage.

    Pour into oiled pan.

    When partly cooled, mark into squares.
