- 1 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
- Cashew Frosting
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Grease and flour baking pan, 13 x 9 x 2-inches.

3Blend all ingredients except Cashew Frosting on low speed 30 seconds, scraping bowl constantly.

4Beat on high speed 3 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally; pour into pan.

5Bake until pick inserted in center comes out clean, 40 to 45 minutes.

6Cool. Frost with Cashew Frosting.
