- 1/3 c. margarine
- 1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. pecan pieces
Directions

1Cream margarine and sugar on medium speed for 5 minutes.

2Add eggs, one at a time; mix well.

3Add vanilla and mix until blended. Combine dry ingredients and add to mixture.

4Mix on low speed until well blended.

5Add nuts.

6Spread evenly in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

7Bake at 325°

8for 25 minutes, or until done when tested with toothpick.
