- 7 Tbsp. cake flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. milk or evaporated milk
- 2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 baked 9-inch pie shell
Directions

1Combine brown sugar, flour and salt in top of double boiler; add milk and yolks, mixing thoroughly.

2Place over rapidly boiling water and cook 10 minutes, stirring constantly.

3Remove from boiling water.

4Add butter and vanilla.

5Cool.

6Turn into pie shell.
