- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- melted butter
Directions

1Soften yeast in water; let stand 5 minutes.

2Scald milk; stir in 1/4 cup butter, sugar and salt.

3Cool to lukewarm.

4Add unbeaten eggs, yeast and flour.

5Beat vigorously.

6Cover and let rise in warm place (80° to 85°) about 1 hour.

7Stir well and spoon into greased muffin pan cups, filling them about 1/2 full.

8Let rise in warm place until doubled in bulk (about 30 minutes).

9Pour 1/2 teaspoon melted butter over each roll; bake in preheated moderate oven (375°) for 20 minutes.

10Can be frozen.
