- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. raw/roasted peanuts
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Combine sugar, corn syrup and water in 3-quart saucepan.

2Cook and stir until sugar dissolves using high heat.

3When syrup boils, blend in butter.

4Stir frequently.

5After it reaches a syrup stage (approximately 230°), reduce heat to medium when temperature reaches soft crack stage.

6Add nuts.

7Stir until temperature reaches hard crack stage, approximately 305°.

8Remove from heat and quickly stir in baking soda.

9Mix thoroughly.

10Pour onto 2 cookie sheets with 4 sides.

11Spread candy evenly over cookie sheets, loosen from pan as soon as possible and turn candy over.

12Break into pieces when cooled.
