- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. chopped peanuts
- 1 tsp. soda
Directions

1Heat and stir sugar, syrup and water in pan.

2When sugar dissolves and comes to a boil, add butter.

3Stir often after syrup reaches 230°, add nuts at 280°, stir to hard crack at 305°.

4Remove from heat and add soda; mix well.

5Pour out on two cookie sheets. Stretch ends with fork.

6Pour into pieces as soon as possible. Makes 2 1/2 pounds.
