- 8 oz. bow tie pasta or other pasta shapes
- 1/2 small cabbage head
- 1 medium onion
- butter or margarine
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Cook bow ties (or other shapes) according to package directions.

2Saute onion in 1 tablespoon margarine until clear. Slice cabbage very thinly and add to onion.

3Continue cooking on medium heat until cabbage wilts.

4Add the cooked and drained pasta along with 1 to 2 tablespoons butter in small slices.

5Continue cooking and stirring until heated through.

6Top with grated Parmesan.
