Cabbage Casserole

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. uncooked Minute rice
  • 1 head fresh cabbage
  • 1 lb. can sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
  • 16 to 20 oz. pizza or spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Mix ground beef, rice, salt and pepper.

    Break cabbage head into pieces and lay in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Layer ground beef mixture, then sauerkraut and cover with sauce.

    Add 1/4 cup of water; cover and bake at 350° for 2 hours.

    Serves 8.
