Cabbage Casserole

  • 1 head cabbage, cut up
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. grated American cheese
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/2 stick margarine

Directions

    Cook cabbage for 7 or 8 minutes or until tender; drain. Combine the soup, milk, cheese, salt and pepper.

    Heat until the cheese melts.

    Combine with cabbage; put in casserole dish.

    Put bread crumbs and margarine on top of cabbage.

    Bake in preheated oven at 350° until heated through, about 20 minutes.
