  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. rice (long or instant)
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 soup can water
  • 2 (16 oz.) pkg. shredded cabbage
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning (optional)

Directions

    Brown beef and onion.

    Add all ingredients except cabbage. Simmer 5 minutes.

    Place cabbage in greased 15 x 10 x 2-inch casserole.

    Cover with meat mixture. Cover.

    Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325°.
