- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. finely chopped celery
- 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 c. water
- 2 small cans red kidney beans
- 2 c. shredded cabbage
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 1 large can tomato juice (optional)
Directions

1Fry ground beef, onion and celery.

2Add tomatoes, water, beans, salt and pepper.

3Bring to hard boil.

4Add cabbage.

5Turn to low heat and cook until done.
