- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 3 Tbsp. raw rice
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 soup can water
- 3 c. shredded cabbage
Directions

1Cook beef until lightly browned and crumbly.

2Mix in onion, rice, salt and pepper; cook 2 to 3 minutes more.

3Add soup and water; mix thoroughly.

4Put cabbage in a 2-quart casserole dish. Pour meat mixture over cabbage; do not stir.

5Cover and bake in slow oven at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
