- 8 large cabbage leaves
- 2 1/2 c. diced, cooked chicken or cooked ground chuck
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh onion
- 1/2 c. finely chopped celery
- 1/4 lb. chopped fresh mushrooms
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 6 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. sour cream
- 3 Tbsp. paprika
- 2 c. chicken broth
Directions

1Cook cabbage leaves in boiling water for 6 minutes.

2Mix chicken, onion, celery, mushrooms, garlic, salt and thyme.

3Stir in egg.

4Place a half cup of chicken mixture in the center of each cabbage leaf.

5Fold sides of the cabbage leaf towards center, over the filling, and then fold and overlap ends to make a small bundle.

6Fasten with toothpicks.

7Place in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
