Ingredients
- 1 head cabbage
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. ground pork sausage
- 2 or 3 c. cooked rice
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- pepper
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. hot water
- 1 can cream of tomato soup
Directions

1Core and steam cabbage.

2When wilted and cooled, peel off leaves.

3Mix together raw beef, sausage, onion, cooked rice and salt and pepper to taste.

4Put some of the mixture on a leaf and roll up like a sausage.

5Place in large baking dish (8 1/2 x 13-inch) and cover with mixture of butter, hot water and cream of tomato soup.

6Dot with a little butter, if desired.

7Bake 1 hour at 300 to 350° until meat is done.
