  • 1 lb. sausage, mixed with sauce
  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. cooked rice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 large head cabbage
  • 1 pt. (or can) sauerkraut
  • 2 garlic buttons
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped

Directions

    Combine all ingredients except cabbage and sauerkraut.

    Steam cabbage to loosen leaves.

    Separate leaves and roll 2 tablespoons of meat mixture in each leaf.

    Fasten with toothpick.

    Place rolled leaves on bed of sauerkraut and bake for 1 hour at 350°.
