  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped cabbage
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 c. raw rice
  • 1 c. tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • cabbage leaves

Directions

    Thoroughly mix all ingredients except cabbage leaves.

    Form mixture into balls the size of walnuts.

    Wrap cabbage leaves around balls and secure with toothpicks.

    Place rolls in Dutch oven; cover with water.

    Cook slowly for 45 minutes.
