Ingredients

  • 10 cabbage outer leaves
  • 2 Tbsp. pickling spices
  • 2 lb. hamburger meat
  • 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c. A.1. steak sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. horseradish
  • 1/4 c. red wine vinegar
  • 2 cloves pressed garlic
  • 1 medium yellow onion
  • 1 c. white rice
  • 2 (29 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 (8 oz.) bag Cheddar cheese
  • 1 strip bacon per roll
  • 1 can beef or chicken stock
  • salt and pepper for taste

Directions

    Place pickling spices in boiling water.

    Add cabbage leaves. Cook leaves until bright green, 10 to 15 minutes.

    Remove; set aside.

    Brown hamburger meat; drain fat.

    Add salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, A.1. steak sauce, red wine vinegar, horseradish, pressed garlic and minced onion, then mix ingredients.
