- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/4 c. instant rice
- salt and pepper
- 1/3 c. finely chopped onion
- 1/2 can tomato soup
- 3 Tbsp. vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. oil
Directions

1Place the vinegar and oil in bottom of pan or casserole.

2Mix beef, rice, onion, soup, salt and pepper.

3Form into oblong rolls, about 12 to 14 rolls.

4Place 12 to 14 cabbage leaves in boiling water to soften.

5Drain.

6Wrap each leaf around meat.

7Roll and place in dish; do not stack.

8Can be a little crowded.

9Fill tomato soup can with water and mix soup and water.

10Pour over rolls.

11Bake 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

12Turn rolls after 1 hour.

13Bake the last 20 minutes, uncovered, at 350°.
