  • 1 head cabbage (about 4 lb.)
  • 2 lb. lean ground pork (can use 1/2 beef and 1/2 pork)
  • 1 small onion, chopped fine
  • 1/2 c. partially cooked rice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine (approximately)
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1/2 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 c. water

    Preparing cabbage:

    Remove core and place head in a large pot of boiling water.

    Cover and cook 5 to 10 minutes.

    Separate leaves and cut out heavy ribs.
