  • 1 large head cabbage, shredded
  • 1 green pepper, sliced thin
  • 2 medium onions, sliced thin with rings separated
  • 1 c. salad oil
  • 3/4 c. white vinegar
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Layer cabbage, green peppers and onions in bowl; do not mix. Cook remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.

    Pour hot dressing over vegetables.

    Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

    This will keep in the refrigerator for 2 weeks.
