Cabbage Slaw

Ingredients

  • 1 head shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 onion, minced or chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • pimento and celery seed (optional)
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Put cabbage, onion and pepper in large bowl.

    Heat the oil, vinegar and sugar.

    Pour over vegetables and chill.
  4. 4
    Will keep 2 weeks in refrigerator.
  5. 5
    (I used red bell pepper for color.)
