  • 1 small cabbage, shredded
  • 1 12 cups brown rice, cooked (cooked measurement)
  • 4 tablespoons soft margarine
  • 1 cup low-fat cheese, grated
  • 14 teaspoon nutmeg, grated
  • salt

Directions

    In large covered saucepan in as little water as possible, cook shredded cabbage over medium heat until crisp-tender.

    Lower the heat and stir in the rice, margarine, cheese, and nutmeg.

    Add salt to taste.

    When all ingredients are heated through, transfer to a serving dish and serve.
