  • 3 large pork steaks or use boneless pork chops
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 can jalapeno chilies
  • 1 pt. stewed tomatoes
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • water (as needed)
  • grated cheese

Directions

    Dice pork and brown in oil.

    Add chopped onion and saute a few minutes.

    Add jalapeno chilies and stewed tomatoes.

    Salt and cumin.

    Let simmer until tender.

    Add a bit of water if mixture gets too thick before it is tender.

    Use to fill tacos, burritos or over rice.

    Sprinkle cheese over.
