Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • several croutons
  • 1 can anchovies (fillets)
  • 1/4 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg yolk
  • olive oil
  • 1 lemon
  • dash of red wine vinegar
  • grated Parmesan cheese
  • romaine lettuce

Directions

    Mash to a paste the garlic, croutons and anchovies with a fork in a wooden bowl.

    Add mustard, Worcestershire sauce and egg yolk and mix well.

    Slowly pour in olive oil and mix while pouring until creamy.

    Squeeze the juice of 1 lemon and add dash of red wine vinegar and some grated Parmesan cheese.

    Mix all together.
