  • 2 heads cut romaine lettuce (bite-size)
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 1/3 c. red wine vinegar
  • 1 coddled egg
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 c. croutons
  • fresh ground pepper
  • 1 tsp. Colman's mustard

    Salt bowl, then mince garlic.

    Ring bowl with Worcestershire sauce (1 teaspoon); add mustard.

    Add oil, vinegar, egg and lemon. Beat well.
