  • 1 box long grain wild rice
  • 1/2 lb. ground pork sausage
  • 1 c. chili beans
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. chopped garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cook rice according to directions on box.

    Completely cover sausage with water and cook until done.

    Combine rest of ingredients with rice, sausage and water.

    Put in baking dish. Water should almost cover entire mixture.

    Add more if needed. Cover.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
