- 3/4 c. salt (plain)
- 1 gal. water
- cucumbers
- 1 1/2 qt. vinegar
- 3/4 c. salt (plain)
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 qt. water
- 2 Tbsp. whole pickling spice
- 2 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 clove garlic
- 3 heads dill weed or seed
Directions

1Soak pickles overnight in 3/4 cup salt and 1 gallon of water. In a saucepan, boil 1 1/2 quarts vinegar, 3/4 cup salt, sugar, 2 1/2 quarts water and pickling spice (in a cloth).

2In canning jars, put in dill weed or dill seed, garlic, mustard seed and cucumbers.

3Pour liquid mixture into jars and seal.

4Process 20 minutes.
