Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 pt. marshmallow cream (14 oz.)
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. fruit and nuts

Directions

    Boil sugar, water and salt to hard-boil stage (248° to 250°) on thermometer. Place marshmallow cream in large bowl and stir in hot syrup.

    Continue stirring until slightly stiff. Fold in vanilla and fruit/nuts. Pour into buttered 8 x 8 pan or drop by teaspoon on tray lined with wax paper.
